Last week I had the pleasure of meeting Pili Montilla at Hispanicize 2013, as she was a speaker Latin Music Trends in 2013: What’s Hot and What’s Not. After a quick chat she mentioned she would be attending the Best outdoor music festival,Coachella later in the week.  I asked if she’d offer to share with me her picts from the event as I would be writing blogs about the event again this year. And wallah!

What was Pili’s favorite part?

It’s moments like this where the power of music is so evident. People from all walks of life united-dancing, singing, sweating and having a blast! Nothing separates us. Everything is one. And,you get to spot some really amazing outfits!

kimono from vintage store Luxe de Ville in Echo Park
Brown fringe boots-Sam Edelman
Fanny pack -urban outfitters
Arm candy:
Big chunky pink stone ring is by Puerto Rican jewelry designer Erika Peña (check her stuff out. It’s amazing!)
right hand-Swatch bird ring and intermix.
The fanny pack is essential for festivals.
You gotta have free hands to dance!!!!

The kimono was super comfortable and looks beautiful while dancing against the sun setting down and the desert mountains. I wanted something that flowed and was feminine.
