It’s been 10 years since you left on your journey to the Heavens above, and leaving behind a lasting impression. Always determined, never discouraged, sent to inspire while so many admired. No obstacle put in your path was ever a challenge.You advanced in life where so many had failed, always with the bigger picture in mind. You gave so many people voices and the courage to fight for equality and standards in a small resort town of Puerto Vallarta where “Ignorance was Bliss”. Today those and so many others are free from the Stigma associated with HIV AIDS, all because you had a vision and the courage to take risks.
You offered education and medical assistance and most of all HOPE! So many of those, that you inspired didn’t know that you had done so while having gone blind, and this too was conquered. You truly were sent to this earth to heal others and that you did in more ways than the obvious.
Dr.Manuel Aldana, a visionary and a pioneer in you own right! I am so proud to have had you as “MY BROTHER,MY HERO”
We miss you yesterday, today, tomorrow and all the days to come until we meet again!
Love Always
your little sister Janet
Eran cien ovejas
que habia en el rebaño
Eran cien ovejas
que tenia el pastor
Pero un dia cuando
al contarlas todas
//le faltaba una//
y triste lloro
Las noventa y nueve
dejo en el aprisco
y por las montañas
al buscarlas fue
la encontro llorando
temblando de frio
viendo sus heridas
la tomo en sus brazos
y al redil volvio
Esa misma historia
vuelve a repetirse
todavia hay ovejas
que vagando estan
vagan por el mundo
//sin Dios y sin consuelo
sin fe y sin consuelo//
y sin su perdon
Left the ninety-nine behind—
You searched until the lost sheep You did find,
Laid me on Your shoulders there, You bore me in
Your tender loving care;
Rejoicing—You found me
Though a small lost sheep—You gave all to come find me.
Parable of the Lost Sheep
“What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he has lost one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the open country, and go after the one that is lost, until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and his neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep that was lost.’ Just so, I tell you, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance. (Luke 15:4-7 ESV)

I have lost so many people that I finally had to move away. I just couldn’t take the constant reminders. While the loss never leaves us, it is wonderful when we can celebrate those we have lost. What a great sister.

Your brother sounds like a great person who a had a lot courage and I guess someone up above loved him for his attributes. This is the only way I can explain when a loved leaves too soon 😦
I don’t care how many years pass by the void of a loved one will never be filled. I just lost my Dad this year to cancer 😦
