Christian Rap Artist Lecrae made his first appearance on the Good Morning America show on April 9, 2015, just before kicking off his ANOMALY 2015 Tour in New York. Robin Roberts introduced Lecrae as “making history with this album” and “the first of many performance here, I predict on GMA”.

Last year with the release of Anomaly the album, Lecrae was given the opportunity to appear on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ making history as the first Christian rapper on late night television and performed “All I need is you”. He returned to the show a second time earlier this year discussing social issues and performed “Welcome to America” which he inserted parts of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr in the song. Last year his collaborative song with artist King & Country “Messengers” earned him a Grammy Award for Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song.

It’s no surprise that Hollywood has taken notice of the uprising of Christian influence in todays media. This is really changing the way the secular or “unchurched” are coming to know Jesus, through Music, TV,Films and social media. Bringing them to “the well” through todays most popular media outlets.

Check out Lecrae’s new video release, “Welcome to America,” and get ready for revolution of the spiritual kind.
