The Coachella Valley Music Festival kicks off today it’s 11th summer concert season at the Empire Polo Club in Indio,California.This years line up brings major pop and rock acts including Red Hot Chili Peppers, Franz Ferdinand, the Stone Roses, Modest Mouse, New Order, Violent Femmes, Vampire Weekend, Yeah Yeah Yeah and Wu-Tang Clan to name a few. Coachella is this generations version of Woodstock! Filled with great MUSIC and lots of STYLE whether it be Boho-chic,bohemian or grunge. If you plan to head out for the beginning of the two-weekend festival make sure to look at these basics for ideas on what to pack. Loose airy clothes for day, warm outerwear for cool nights and tons of sunscreen. (And maybe some rain gear.) Pack a few must-haves to stay comfy and stylish.Then add whatever attitude suits you.

Celebs Sightings

Coachella Celebrity Pictures — Famous faces in the crowd, Kellan Lutz checked out Lacoste‘s pool party while Nicole Richie dressed up for an event in nearby Palm Springs. Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson showed PDA during the shows, as Kate Bosworth and Alexander Skarsgard were back for their second day at the event. These images are from 2012

Keep our eyes peeled for TONS of Celebrity sightings! Pop on over to the Fab Parker Palms Springs Hotel for the pop-up “Shop Bazaar” offered by Harper’s Bazaar. Who might you spot having cocktails with the editor’s? Maybe Sophia Bush or Jessica Lowndes.

Lacoste Live is back on Saturday to kick off its daytime party, offering tired festival feet mani-pedis. An interactive listening station and cotton candy treats will be offered at the pop-up shop out of a mobile container unit. Who’s expected to attend? Carrie Diaries star Anna Sophia Robb, Diane Kruger, Chris Pine,Elijah Woods and Lea Michele.

keeping it On the down low

Who doesn’t like surprise guests? The “Details @ Midnight” concert series by Details Magazine an Invite-Only event hosted by NAS,will have surprise guest performing. Location undisclosed. Who may attend? Adam Levine, Alessandra Ambrosio, Rodrigo Santoro, Josh Henderson and Stacy Keibler.

H&M will also have a super exclusive party party that will feature performances by Santigold and The Dough Rollers. Private Estate in La Quinta.
