THE OOGIELOVES IN THE BIG BALLOON ADVENTURE is in Theaters today! With your older kids back in school this is the perfect Mommy and Me film for your preschooler. A unique, interactive movie experience for young children and their families. It is a family musical that allows children to be children, encouraging them to sing and dance with their friends on-screen and to help “move” the adventure along. From the opening title sequence until the final song and dance number, children are invited to take part in this fun and fantastic Oogielove adventure.
This is the biggest independent release of a G rated movie ever, opening up in 3,200 screens nationally (and internationally next March). And though independent, it’s got a great cast, including Toni Braxton, Cloris Leachman, Christopher Lloyd, and Jamie Pressley.
One of the creators, Kenn Viselman, is the man who brought the Teletubbies to PBS, and is responsible for the mass merchandise marketing of Thomas the Train and Eloise.
A qiuck cast review:
Toni Braxton as Rosalie Rosebud was probably my least favorite chartacters in the film, Rosalie is LovelyLoveville’s singing diva extraordinaire singer who Loves roses but is allergic and is constanly sneezing. Her “scratchy sneezy” ballad was to me boring and probably not the kids favorite.
Christapher Lloyd (Back to the Future),as Lero Sombrero coupled with Jaime Pressly make the the interactive dance moves of Jump, Step, Clap lots of fun
