The 20th Century FOX Film, WON’T BACK DOWN, starring Maggie Gyllenhaal and Viola Davis, out in theaters everywhere this Friday, September 28th.
The film tells a powerful story – inspired by true events – of parenthood, friendship, hope and courage, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Viola Davis portray determined mothers¬ who will stop at nothing to transform their children’s failing inner city school. Facing a powerful and entrenched bureaucracy and a system mired in traditional thinking, they risk everything to make a difference in the education and future of their children.

This campaign is created as a “call to action” to the community, especially parents, to pledge to become more involved in their children’s school. Whether it’s beautifying the school playground or library, clean the grounds, organize fundraising car wash or fairs (as seen on the film), reading to the kids during reading hour, bake sales, etc.
