A single moment can change everything. How much different would the world (and mankind) have been if an asteroid had missed earth millions of years ago, sparing the dinosaurs? This is the question posed in the Disney and Pixar Animation Studios adventure/comedy The Good Dinosaur. The film is directed by Peter Sohn, making his first full-length effort.
Arlo is a young Apatosaurus who finds himself on his own after the tragic death of his father. Besides having to fend for himself, further hardship occurs when he’s the victim of an accidental fall into a river, knocked unconscious and carried many miles away. When he recovers, he finds himself in an unfamiliar land. Determined, Arlo relies on his instincts to try and return to his native territory, the Clawed Tooth Mountains. Along the journey, his path crosses that of Spot, a young cave dweller who happens to be human. The unlikely duo become friends, and help each other survive through many obstacles and threats.
A top-notch cast provides the voices, including Raymond Ochoa, Jack Bright, Jeffrey Wright, Anna Paquin and Sam Elliot.
