Sharing means saving! Publix Snack, Share, Save event has a variety snack choices for every time of day.Healthy snacks are an important part of my families very busy day, that’s why I want to share with you a few of our favorites. My eldest son and I wake up very early, before sunrise to head out to school and work. I gave up coffee a few months back and now we both start our morning with a glass of Naked Juice Smoothie, we both love the Mighty Mango filled with incredibly yummy mangos, oranges, apples and banana. We have also ventured into trying a different flavor each week, this week it’s the Chia Sweet Peach which has now become my teens new favorite. Filled with chia seeds for Omega-3s, fiber, calcium, iron and some super-powered pep for when daily crunch time comes around. Best thing about Naked Juices is that there NONGMO, have no added sugar, available in a variety of flavors and are perfect on the go.
So my teenage son began High School this year, I normally wouldn’t have packed lunch for him, but since he’d be on the football team and staying late for practice. I chose to pack him a healthy, high-protein snack that will help keep his energy up. Yoplait Plenti Greek Yogurt is a great energy booster he can have just prior to practice, keeping him from snacking on a sugar filled candy bar. We only do Greek yogurt in our house so I was happy to try out Yoplait newest Greek Yogurt Plenti, with 8 flavors plus whole grain oats, flax seeds and pumpkin seeds. I happen to have saved on these items through the Publix Snack Share Save event this week, (Download your $5 Digital Coupon) bought a few extra for both my husband’s and my own afternoon work snacks.
As you can see through my snack choices, I’m always looking for ways to add healthy choices to our daily routine, from better-for-you snacks, to simple ways to add more energy, more positivity, and more piece of mind. Know that even small changes can make a big difference.
Who doesn’t Love Chips and Salsa? Well we do,and this snack can be gone in record time. With this in mind, having 3 males in the home I don’t buy potato chips chock full of fat! We do grains all the way! These Tostitos Multigrain tortilla chips are the perfect alternative to chips for all our gatherings plus they are msg free! Football is a big deal with my guys, so I make sure to keep a bag or two on hand on Game Days to share with friends. These snack choices are better for your belly and your wallet when you stock up on snacks from Publix!
