Hillsong Young & Free newest album YOUTH REVIVAL, was released today, the christian band performed last night as part of their Youth Revival Tour at the Belasco Theater in downtown LA. This location is where Hillsong LA holds its Sunday church services.
As part of the bands new sophomore album YOUTH REVIVAL, Y&F had an album release concert in which good friend & pop icon Selena Gomez surprised attendees on the Y&F stage and performed her song “Nobody.”
Selena recently revealed that “Nobody,” was written about God. Before performing the song, Selena shared
“Tonight is more than a concert, it’s more than Hillsong, it’s more than me coming on stage and singing a song for you. It’s about a relationship that is greater than anything. I wrote this song about the one thing that holds it all together for me.”
Selena had hinted on her Instagram post on the 24th about being at the Belasco Theater, but I’m sure most of her secular followers had any idea about the Christian band. Selena has posted videos in the past singing Hillsong United “Oceans”.
Celebrities such as Justin Bieber, Ashley Benson, Vanessa Hudgens, and more count the Hillsong pastors as their spiritual mentors and personal friends.
