Art Basel 2012 kicked off this past week here in beautiful Sunny Miami. SearsStyle decided to partake in the events this year by offering a special event for Fashion Bloggers and Media in the Penthouse Suite of the Raleigh Hotel. The “Art of Fashion” lounge was the calm before the evening’s storm for many of the beautiful ladies attending the Private event.

 

 

 

We were welcomed with sparkling beverages and a Denim bar were we got to select from a variety on skinny jeans from Bongo. I Spy DIY Style diva Jenni Radosevich was present at the DIY table encouraging us to stud and bedazzle our new jeans as well as personalize copies of her book. The lounge was a wonderful reprieve from the madness and traffic on South Beach, I sat down with the NYX Makeup artist to get a tutorial and application of the smoky eye look while others enjoyed mini manis by Sally Hansen. Really this was the Perfect Start to the weekend!

 

 

Outside on the rooftop was a lovely buffet with ceviche,salads,assorted cheeses,breads,desserts and coffee for us all to indulge. Racks with a few of the clothing lines such as Kardashian Kollection, Metaphor, Bongo and True freedom were available for us to try on and then order directly online from the Tweet Deck. One thing I really enjoyed was spending some time to get to know the face behind the blogs that I follow. And the ambiance was relaxed and enjoyable that you were able to chat without being frazzled by lots of people.

Ok so I will have to say that the photo booth was Awesome! We got in and just enjoyed the silly posses,and as you see here are the results. But make sure to view them all at The Art of Fashion photo booth fun!
