The Founding Fathers believed Liberty came directly from God. With their knowledge of scripture,they know each child was made in the image of God. That is why everyone had dignity,value and worth.
Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13
On this day 4th of July I’d like to share a collection of Independence Day scripture, I hope that they will encourage your Christian celebration of freedom, both physical and spiritual.

Freedom
that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. (Romans 8:21 ESV)
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. (2 Corinthians 3:17 ESV)

Liberty

Peace

Truth
I speak of what I have seen with my Father, and you do what you have heard from your father.” (John 8:38 ESV)
Honor/Love
Be subject for the Lord’s sake to every human institution, whether it be to the emperor as supreme, or to governors as sent by him to punish those who do evil and to praise those who do good. For this is the will of God, that by doing good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish people. Live as people who are free, not using your freedom as a cover-up for evil, but living as servants of God. Honor everyone. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the emperor. (1 Peter 2:13-17 ESV)
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage! (Psalm 33:12 ESV)
Righteousness
and, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness. (Romans 6:18 ESV)
Life
But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life. (Romans 6:22 ESV)
