The quintessential American retailer Brooks Brothers recently announced its newest Creative Director, Fashion Designer Zac Posen. Posen will become the women’s wear creative director as announced last week by Claudio Del Vecchio, the chief executive of Brooks Brothers.

“We want to communicate the direction is about American Glamour,” Mr. Posen

Posen will make his debut with the spring/summer 2016 collection,possibly during New York Fashion Week in September 2015. Del Vecchio has hopes of doubling the women’s business, which at this time accounts for 20 percent of the brands business. This collaboration will be Posen’s fifth creative partnership and his fourth label. This past February his Truly Zac Posen for David’s Bridal was released and last year he replaced Micheal Kors as a judge on “Project Runway.”
